Gods do not exist. Woton, Thor, Mithras, Isis and Osiris, never existed. Jesus and Yaweh suffer the same ignominious fate. Non existence. Only our desire to believe exists. Rationally, we all understand what lack of evidence means, what it entails, when the search is sufficiently thorough. It is true in Law, in parenting and teaching, in the conduct of our daily lives, and should regulate and rule our understanding of cosmology as well. 95+% of scientists are atheists who never give the issue a second thought. Their rationality compels them not to accept anything as true without proof. We should emulate them.
No one believes the impossible is possible (given one consistent definition of “possible”). Anybody who says they believe the impossible is possible does not understand their own words. It is merely an abuse of language.
